Hi 2-Rays!

Of the places you named, I missed all of the business trips sites. The

only place in Canada I have been is on the Canadian side of Niagara

Falls. I have family in VA, PA & FL. I seem to do those often. Annually,

we chase leaves (I call it). There are few trees at the beach, so each

Fall we drive around for 3 or 4 days just planning to look at the

colorful countryside. Because of that, I can add WVA. We used to drive

to FL, therefore, I have been in NC, SC & GA. We have wandered off of

the 95 corridor in each state somewhat. One year, we combined leaf

chasing with chasing waterfalls, hence the Niagara Falls visit. That

brought us through western NY State; my nephew temporarily lived on that

Long Island strip, so I've been there, but I have not done the Big Apple

kind of thing at all. Used to do Atlantic City once in awhile, so that's

NJ. Oh, and again for NJ, chasing leaves, we went to the intersection

of PA, NJ & NY. High Point park there is breathtaking in the fall. And

you see so many sets of different mountain ranges...Appalachians and

Addirondacs (sp?). We are nature lovers.

Most all of these trips are viewing things from the car and getting out

to walk in parks. They are not long stays to see all of the tourist

attractions.

Now, these next trips included the touristy things. I have family in the

Boston area that I visited when my niece went to college up there, so

that's MA. Bill & I have only flown together on free airline trips as

well. Once, if you bought a particular car, you'd get airline tix for

two. We went to the Grand Canyon and its surrounding areas...AZ, Nevada

& UT (you have to see Bryce Canyon in UT). Business sent us out to CA. I

drove 15 minutes into Mexico at Tiajuana once and got back across the

border quickly. All of these people surrounded my car, touching it,

reaching in the windows and were speaking to me and I couldn't

understand. I just felt too vulnerable. I was probably around 29 at the

time. With girlfriends, the other different places I have done are

Maine's Coast and Aruba. They tell me I spent a summer in MI when I was

3. I don't remember more than my Aunt's driveway and house. I have lived

in DC, MD and now in DE. Sounds like I have ignored the northern

corners of each coast and the entire middle of the country. Gee, I

didn't think I had done much travelling.

> However, we are planning my lifetime dream trip....we are going to Ireland

> and England for 2 weeks this summer, leaving on July 27th I think.

Oh how exciting for you all. I have spoken with several people who have

been to those areas and they always want to go back for more. Sounds

like you have a pretty full list of things you want to fit in while you

are there. Hope it turns out wonderfully. My cousin did England and fit

in loads with good planning. I am sure you will too.

Mental note...the reunion party should not happen during that time.

> I retire....hopefully in Y2K. What a year that's going to be!

Am I pulling that out of context, or did I get that right?! How doubly

wonderful for you. Especially since you still have one so young at home.

It's hard to do that these days.

Well, I have run on enough. Someone else's turn. 2-Rays, it sounds

exciting. We'll need a full report! Hugs and smiles to all. Elsie
